Your first app

  • Create a project: One command writes a working app: a home page in a styled layout, sessions, CSRF protection, migrations, a queue, email, a test, and the files to deploy it.

  • Add pages for a model: make:crud writes a model with its table, and the pages to list, show, create, edit and delete its rows, styled by the starter theme, with their routes and a test. You get working pages in a minute, and code you can read and change.
  • Add accounts: make:auth writes user accounts into your app: registration, login with “remember me”, sign-in with Google and GitHub, email verification, password reset, two-factor sign-in, a settings page and API tokens, with their pages, emails, routes and tests.
  • Test and build: go test ./…
